NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have booked a villager for violating an order duly promulgated by a public servant by burning paddy stubble fields.
Investigating Officer (IO) Rajindar Pal Singh said the suspect had been identified as Gurdeep Singh a resident of Pandori Khas village.
Cluster officer Manpreet Singh reported that the suspect burned paddy fields in his field in the village.
IO said a case under section 223 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against the suspect.
