NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested d a youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor.
Investigating officer (IO) Davindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Akash Deep alias Teji son of Nindar Singh a resident of Udho Wal village.
Rajani a resident of Mehat Pur had complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her.
IO said that a case under sections 137 (2) (kidnapping) and 87 (kidnapping to murder or for ransom) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
