SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have booked two persons on charge of encroaching on a shop.
Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said the accused have been identified as Ashwani Jindal a resident of Shahkot and his son Karan Jindal
Nitin Sharma a resident of Shahkot complained to the police that the accused encroached on his shop and threatened the witness to record evidence.
IO said a case under sections 329(2)(4) (criminal trespass and house trespass),232(threatening any person to give false evidence )351(1))(criminal intimidation ) and 3(3) (property in possession of wife, clerk or servant committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
