Jandiala village resident booked for outraging religious feelings

 

NAKODAR

 The Nakodar City police have booked a villager on the charge of deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage the religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion.

Investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jasveer Singh son of Chanann Singh a resident of Jandiala  Manjki village under Sadar Jamsher police station

Balwindar Malrri a resident of Malrri village complained to the police that the accused used derogatory remarks against Bhagwan Valmik in a video made viral on social media.

 

IO said that a case under section 299(deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the BNS has been registered and further investigation is on.
