The Nurmahal police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin. Station house officer (SHO) Aman Saini said that 4 grams of heroin and Rs 1300 drug money were recovered from the accused identified as Jaswindar Kaur alias Jassi wife of Amarjit a resident of Pasla village.
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested three drug peddlers including a woman for selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer Major Singh said the accused had been identified as Manjit wife of Major Ram a resident of Thabalke village and 92 intoxicant tablets were recovered from her possession.
The police arrested drug peddlers Ranjit alias Billa son of Gian and Amarjit son of Jagir Singh residents of Shankar village with 174(95+79) intoxicant tablets said Investigating Officers Kabal Singh and Kulwindar Singh.
The Nakodar City police arrested a drug peddler Samit Sahota son of Balraj of Mohalla Rishi Nagar with 100 intoxicant tablets and impounded his motorcycle, said investigating officer Kulvinder Singh.
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa son of Mohindar Singh a resident of Meon Wal village with 140 intoxicant tablets said Investigating Officer Satpal.
