The Nakodar Sadar police have booked nine persons on the charges of attempt to murder.
Investigating officer (IO) Govindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manpreet Singh alias Mani son of Balwindar Singh a resident of Ball Nau village and his eight unidentified accomplices
Amrit Pal Singh a resident of Ball Nau village complained to the police that the accused tried to crush him beneath their vehicle to kill attack and injure him.
IO said that a case under section 109(attempt to
murder) 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 191(3) (rioting )190 (unlawful assembly), and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS have been registered against the accused and his accomplices.
