NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked four miscreants on the charge of robbing a motorcycle from a villager.
Investigating officer (IO) Rajindar Pal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sahil Mattu son of Manga a resident of Mohalla Kamal Pura Nakodar, Harveer alias Harri son of Balwant a resident of Mahun Wal village Balwindar Singh alias Bhindi son of Sukhwindar Singh and Jassa both residents of Sharak Pur village.
Rattan Singh a resident of Hussaina Pur village complained to the police that he was going to his shop situated at Nakodar on October 17 afternoon when the accused waylaid him on Shankar Road robbed his motorcycle (PB-33-C-3165) and fled away.
IO said a case under 126(2) (wrongful restraint 309(4) (robbery) and 3(5) (committing the crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
