The Shahkot police arrested a Moga village thief on the charge of stealing instruments from a farmer’s fields
The investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that the accused had been identified as Gurdeep Singh son of Karter Singh, a resident of Raja Wal village under Kot Esse Khan police station in Moga
Gurbhej Singh, a resident of Jaffar Pur village, had, complained to the police that the accused had stolen 11 tillers and one 8 HP engine from his motor in March 2022.
IO said that a case under sections 379 (theft),201(causing disappearance of evidence of an offense) and 34(committing a crime with common interests) of the IPC was registered against the accused in March 2022.
