Roadway driver booked for causing death by negligence.

 

 NAKODAR

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a roadway driver for causing death by negligence and rash driving.

 

Investigating officer (IO) Kulwindar Singh said the accused has been identified as Kulwindar Singh son of Mall Singh a resident of Rajia Dhanola village in Barnala.

 

Nachhatar Singh a resident of Shamsha Bad village under Nurmahal police station, complained to the police that his cousin Santokh Singh along with another village resident Pritam Singh were going to Jalandhar on a scooter when the accused driver driving his bus fast and negligently hit the scooter near Mudh village and seriously injured both who succumbed to injuries.

 

 

IO said that a case under section 106 (causing death by negligence)281 (rash driving on public road) 125 (a) 125(b) (causing grievous hurt ) 324(4) (mischief )  of the BNS has been registered against the accused who managed to flee from the spot and bus has been impounded. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after postmortem.
