The Lohian Khas police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) Prem Lal said that 10 grams of heroin were recovered from the passion of the accused identified as Sajan son of Marg a resident of Mohalla Jhugian ward no 2 Lohian Khas
IO said a case under section 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Makhann Singh son of Gurmel Singh a resident of Chak Kalan village with 90 intoxicant tablets (loose) said IO Govidar Singh.
The Mehat Pur police arrested drug peddler Sukhdev Raj son of Surindar Pal a resident of Mohalla Talab Wala Mehat Pur with 120 intoxicant tablets (loose) said IO Sukhwindar Pal Singh.
The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Gurdeep alias Deepa, son of Meet Ram a resident of Mohalla Ranghrra, Nurmahal with 110 intoxicant tablets (loose) said IO Bodh Raj.
