The Mehat Pur police have arrested two thieves on the charge of stealing iron rods from a gurdwara.
Investigating officer (IO) Davindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Mandeep Singh son of Jagatjeet Singh a resident of Mohalla Shah Pur Mehat Pur and Lovpreet Singh son of Sorabjee Singh a resident of Aadra Maan village
Baljindar Singh a resident of Buland Puri village complained to the police that the accused stole iron rods and shuttering items from the gurdwara Buland Puri Sahib.
IO said that a case under section 305 (theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
