The Mehat Pur police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) who has been absconding for the last year. Investigating officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the accused had been identified as Harjindar Singh alias Shaily son of Buta Singh a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village wanted in a case of drug peddling.
The Nurmahal police arrested PO Akash, son of Lakhvir Singh a resident of Gumtali village in a theft case, said investigating officer Resham Singh.
