The Shahkot police have booked a Jalandhar resident for rash driving and causing grievous hurt.
The investigating officer (IO) Sulindar Singh said that the accused had been identified as Parwinder Singh a resident of FCI colony, Jalandhar.
Jagtar Singh a resident of Jaffar Wal village complained to the police that the accused was driving his vehicle (PB-08-DC-9299) fast and negligently on September 9 and hit his brother Lal Chand and injured him seriously.
The investigating officer said that a case under sections 281(rash driving on the public highway), 125(a), 125(b) (causing grievous hurt), and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS had been registered against the accused.
