NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police booked a villager on a charge of brewing illicit liquor.
Investigating Officer Kulwindar Singh said that 30 kilograms of Lahann (raw liquor) and utensils for brewing were recovered from the accused identified as Manpreet Singh a resident of Musse Wal village who managed to flee from the spot.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
