Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Doctor Himanshu Aggarwal has issued an order for reserving the post of Sarpanches of gram panchayats in Jalandhar district.
As per the order posted on the official website Jalandhar. nic. in. 21 posts of Sarpanches of gram panchayats in block Nakodar have been reserved for Scheduled castes 22 posts have been reserved for Scheduled castes women and 23posts have been reserved for women out of a total 89 posts of Sarpanches.
22 posts of Sarpanches of gram panchayats in block Shahkot have been reserved for Scheduled castes and 21 posts have been reserved for Scheduled castes women and 25 posts have been reserved for women out of a total of 83 posts of Sarpanches.
18 posts of Sarpanches of gram panchayats in block Nurmahal have been reserved for Scheduled castes 18 posts Most have been reserved for Scheduled castes women and 16 posts have been reserved for women out of a total of 71 posts of Sarpanches.
