Punjab Defence Welfare, Freedom Fighters, and Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat was given a grand welcome today upon his arrival in Jalandhar after assuming office as a Cabinet Minister on Monday. The Jalandhar administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, accorded him a guard of honour. Family members, supporters, and party workers gathered in large numbers to greet the Minister, showering him with flowers in a display of love and affection.
At Circuit House, Minister Bhagat sought the blessings of his father, Former Cabinet Minister Chuni Lal Bhagat, by touching his feet. Speaking on the occasion, Bhagat expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the people of Jalandhar, particularly from his Jalandhar West constituency. He thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal for entrusting him with the responsibility, vowing to work diligently to meet expectations.
Mr. Bhagat reaffirmed his commitment to serve the people of Punjab and assured that he will be available 24x7 for any public concerns. He emphasized his dedication to implementing the pro-people initiatives of the Aam Aadmi Party government, pledging to make Jalandhar a leading district in the state. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to the voters of Jalandhar West, declaring that "every voter of the constituency has become a Minister today."
He further mentioned that anyone can approach him freely concerning their issues and he will leave no stone unturned to address the Public's concerns. Earlier, he had an introductory meeting with senior officials of the Jalandhar Administration.
