 Divisional Commissioner Pradeep Sabharwal said that serving patients is the noblest service, and Shri Satya Sai Seva organization's contribution in this field is commendable. He was visiting the government hospital in Jalandhar along with Mr. Nimesh Pandya, All India President of the Shri Satya Sai Seva organization. During the visit, he inspected the kitchen and pharmacy and served breakfast and porridge to the patients.

The Divisional Commissioner said that our society needs such institutions that come forward for the welfare of humanity to assist those in need. He mentioned that his father, Prem Pal Sabharwal, served in Civil Hospital and ESI for nearly 40 years and now he too is taking special steps for the convenience of the patients. He informed that the Shri Satya Sai Seva organization is taking special measures for patients' welfare in almost every district of India.

Inspecting the food quality, Mr. Sabharwal noted that the organization is running a kitchen in the Civil Hospital where around 300 patients and their attendants are provided free breakfast, porridge, and other meals by volunteers.

 The organization has also provided an advanced machine worth Rs. 3.25 lakh for free blood tests in Civil Hospital Jalandhar. Additionally, the organization has provided AC labs, AC blood banks, and AC operation theatres, along with fans and water coolers for the hospital.

The Divisional Commissioner added that under the leadership of Mr. Nimesh Pandya, the organization has adopted 108 villages in the Majha border area, where they are conducting free medical camps and taking initiatives in education and sports for children. The organization runs special classes for children in these villages through its affiliated Bal Vikas Sanstha, and in these classes, children are inspired to become responsible citizens with moral values. Additionally, children are being introduced to the sport of Kabaddi, and competitions are organized at the village and block levels.


 SDM Jai Inder Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Secretary District Red Cross Society Inderpal Singh, Vikas Kapoor, Jeeti Sahga, and other were present on the occasion.
