A youth committed suicide on Friday.
Investigating Officer Sulindar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Balvir Chand alias Kaka (27) a resident of Kaniya Khurd village.
Gurmail father of the deceased told the police that his son consumed some poisonous substance and ended his life.
IO said the police acting under section 194 of the BNNS (police to enquire and report on suicide) handed over the body to the family after a post-mortem.
