The Bilga police have booked two thieves for stealing transformers from a farmer’s fields.
Investigating Officer (IO) Dalwara Singh said the accused have been identified as Sagar son of Sanjiv and Arjan residents of Nangal village under Phillaur police station.
Baljindar Singh a resident of Poadharra village complained to the police that the accused thieves stole a transformer from his fields.
IO said a case under section 303(2) (theft) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
