The Shahkot police have booked three miscreants for snatching a woman’s earrings.
Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said the accused had been identified as Labha a resident of Bajwa Kalan village, Happy a resident of Bagga village, and Jiti a resident of Mule Wal Aranyin village.
Surinder Kaur a resident of Mein Wal Aranyin village complained to the police that she was sitting in the street on August 18 when three motorcycle-borne accused snatched her earring.
IO said that a case under section 304 (snatching)and 3(5) (committing a crime with the common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
