The Lohian Khas police have arrested three miscreants on the charge of snatching cash from a petrol pump salesman.
Investigating Officer (IO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Paramjit Singh alias Pamma son of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Ami Wal village, Balwindar Singh alias Binder son of Mall Singh a resident of Sahej Lal Pur village under Dharam Kot police station in Moga and Rajwindar Singh alias Raju son of Satnam Singh a resident of Sher Pur Tiaba village Dharam Kot police station in Moga.
Bhagat Singh a resident of Chanan Windi village under Sultan Pur Lodhi police station had complained to the police that the accused had snatched Rs 64000 from his petrol pump on August 5 by threatening salesmen.
IO said a case under section 304(snatching) of the BNS was registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle and recovered from their possession a sharp-edged weapon.
