SHAHKOT
A resident of Nakodar town was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar son of Nand Kishor a resident of Ashok Vihar Nakodar (40) and was rushed to Shahkot community health center where the doctor declared him as brought dead.
Investigating officer Sarwann Singh said that Shikha wife of the deceased told the police that her husband was a drunkard and might have died due to excessive drinking. The police acting under section 194 of the B.N.S. S handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
