Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal today conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing highway projects in the district, emphasizing the need for expeditious completion.
In a meeting with officials along with Harkamalpreet Singh khakh SSP Jalandhar Rural, Dr. Aggarwal directed them to accelerate the pace of the projects to ensure they meet their deadlines.
Dr. Aggarwal also instructed the officials to identify and remove any bottlenecks that might hinder progress, urging a proactive approach to resolving issues.
He highlighted the importance of better coordination among various departments to facilitate the smooth execution of these crucial infrastructure projects.
The review included major projects like the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, Jalandhar Bypass, and Amritsar-Bathinda Highway.
Deputy Commissioner underscored the significance of these projects for the region's connectivity and economic growth, stressing that any delays could impact the district's development.
Officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) were also present during the review. Dr. Aggarwal reiterated his commitment to ensuring that these projects are completed on time, promising continued oversight and support from the district administration.
