Punjab State Minorities Commission's Chairman, Abdul Bahri Salmani, reaffirmed the Punjab Government's commitment to preserving communal harmony across the state through active engagement with all religious communities. In a statement released today, Chairman Salmani emphasized that the recent land dispute in the Jalandhar Kunj area has been resolved amicably, respecting the wishes of all stakeholders involved.
Salmani highlighted that his primary objective was to ensure that peace and communal harmony were not disrupted due to this issue. He expressed satisfaction that all parties involved in the dispute have expressed their approval of the resolution, which was reached through mutual understanding and cooperation.
He said that the people of Punjab have always been advocates of peace and prosperity, and he asserted that no one can disturb the communal harmony that has been a hallmark of the state. The Chairman's proactive approach has been praised for maintaining the spirit of unity and understanding among diverse communities in Punjab.
