The Goraya police station has arrested two women drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO) Rakesh Kumar said 5 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Kamla, wife of Vijay Kumar, and Jagiro, wife of Jaila Ram, both residents of Mohalla Langarhia, Goraya.
SHO said a case under section 21(B)/61/85 of the NDPS Act had been registered against the accused and six cases are pending against them.
