NAKODAR
The Nakodar city arrested a villager on the charge of causing death by negligence. Investigating Officer (IO) Jagjit Singh said that the accused Baldev Singh a resident of Mandiala village under Mehat Pur police station.
Barjinder Singh a resident of Parjian Kalan village in Shahkot had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice were driving their car fast and rashly and hit his father Des Raj’s motorcycle in Adarsh colony, Nakodar July 13 and killed him.
IO said that a case under sections 281,106 and 324(4) of the BNS (304-A-causing death by negligence- 279rash driving on a public way-427-mischief of the IPC) was registered against the accused.
