The Nakodar City police have arrested two Fazilka-based thieves on the charge of stealing household goods from a house.
The investigating officer (IO) Rajinder Pal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Ajay Kumar son of Vakeel a resident of Saivian Road, Fazilka, and Ram son of Ram Dass a resident of near Bijli Ghar, Fazilka
Paramjit Singh a resident of Bhalla Enclave, Nakodar complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on July 27 and stole an inverter with a battery, tractor batteries, taps from bathrooms, an LCD, and other materials.
IO said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house-trespass) ,305(theft in dwelling house))317(2) (5) (assisting in connection with stolen property )of the B.N.S. has been registered against the accused.
