The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said 6 kilograms of poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Kala Singh son of Mangat Singh a resident of Gaunsu Wal village
IO said that a case under section 15/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Lohian Khas police arrested drug peddler Gursewak Singh alias Gora son of Gurcharan Singh a resident of ward no 11 near Durga Temple Lohian Khas with 1095 intoxicant capsules and 90 intoxicant tablets said IO Jasbir Singh
