The Shahkot police have arrested a Moga district thief on the charge of stealing a farmer's tillers.
Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that the accused had been identified as Akash Kumar alias Kaku son of Darshan Singh a resident of Raja Wal village under Kot Esse Khan police station M9oga district.
Gurbhej Singh a resident of Jaffar Wal village complained to the police in 2022 that the accused had stolen tractor tillers and an engine of 8 HP from his shed.
IO said that a case under sections 379 (theft) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against the accused in March 2022.
