NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a Taran Tarn village resident on the charges of raping a woman and criminal intimidation.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sub Inspector Pardeep Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Guwinder Singh son of Resham Singh a resident of Jaurra village under Sarhali police station, Taran Tarn district.
IO said a case under sections 376(rape) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the IPC and section 66-E of the Information Technology Act was registered against the accused.
