The Shahkot police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) absconding for the last 13 years. Investigating officer (IO) Buta Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jatinder Singh alias Mattu son of Darshan a resident of Meinay Wal Maulvian village. The accused was booked in a case of assault in 2009 and was declared a PO in 2013.
The police also arrested another PO Harjit Singh son of Jagir Singh a resident of Sadik Pur village and wanted in many cases said IO Buta Ram.
