The Nakodar City police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said that 100 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Hardev Kumar alias Happy son of Prem Chand a resident of Mohalla Arjan Nagar Nakodar and Tajinder Kumar son of Mohan Lal a resident of Mohann Lal a resident of Mohala Guru Nanak Pura Nakodar.
IO said that a case under section 22-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act had been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which they were traveling with the contraband.
