A U.P. state resident living at Shankar village was killed in an accident on Saturday.
Investigating officer (IO) Manjit Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Ram Shankar a resident of UP state and presently living at Govt High School Shankar village.
Akash Deep son of the deceased informed the police that his father was killed in an accident.
CO said that the police acting under section 174 of the BNNS(174 of the Cr. P.C.) handed over the body to the family.
The Lohian Khas police also registered a case in connection with the death of Jasbir Singh a resident of Kara Ram Singh village on a statement from Harpreet Kaur wife of the deceased said IO Jasbir Singh.
