To avail of expeditious and hassle-free passport application processing service, Regional Passport Officer (RPO)Abhishek Sharma has advised all the applicants to share their supporting documents from their DigiLocker account to the Passport Seva system while filling their passport application form or keep their documents handy by uploading them in Digilocker app.
He said that “ it would not only preclude any avoidable objections and escalations of the file to the back office for further referring the documents to concerned departments for verification but also check any possible forgery of documents “.
He also said that the Indicative list of documents that can be accessed in the DigiLocker app includes an Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, PAN, Birth Certificate, Ration Car, Class X Passing Certificate Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill.
He said that the Regional Passport Office Jalandhar remains committed to provide
hassle-free services to the applicants and addressing their grievances.
