The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO) and Talwandi Sanghera police post-in-charge Buta Ram said that 151 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Lachhman Kumar alias Tufaniya son of Sulinder Kumar a resident of Mohalla New Kartar Nagar, Shahkot.
IO said that a case under section 22-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
