The Mehat Pur police have arrested two more members of a gang of thieves engaged in stealing farmers’ transformers and arrested its two members.
Investigating officer (IO) Davinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Chamkuar Singh alias Gauri Gurdial Singh a resident of Avtar colony, Dharam Kot in Moga, and Baljinder Singh son of Sukhmandar Singh a resident of Panjgrayee Kalan village under Jaito police station Farid Kot
IO said that a case under sections,303-2,317-2 of the BNS (379 -theft and 411-dishonestly receiving stolen property of the IPC) was registered against the accused and their two accomplices were arrested earlier.
