SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) absconding for the last 18 years. Investigating officer Balvir Chand said that the accused has been identified as Hardeep Singh son of Baldev Singh a resident of Gandhi Chowk, Shahkot.
IO said that the accused is wanted in a case of murder registered in July 2006.
The police also arrested PO Harjot Singh alias Jota son of Santokh Singh a resident of Dhando Wal village and wanted in a case of drug peddling said IO Balvir Chand.
