Counter Intelligence unit of Bathinda on Monday claimed to have arrested one person and recovered 210 bags(41 quintal) of poppy husk.
"There is a big win in the war against drugs. The CI unit Bathinda has recovered 4100 kg of poppy husk and has arrested one person. The truck container transporting the haul has also been confiscated. The police are checking the forward and backward links in this regard," posted Gaurav Yadav,DIG Punjab on X today.
The poppy husk was being smuggled from Madhya Pradesh to Moga,it has been learnt.
