The Lohian Khas police have arrested a woman on the charge of murdering a co-villager.
Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Singh said the accused has been identified as Balwinder Kaur wife of Santokh Singh a resident of Mianni village.
IO said that a case under sections 302(murder), 307 (attempt to murder) 323,324,325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 148 and 19(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and others in October 2023.
