The Bilga police have arrested a thief on the charge of stealing items from a Church.
Investigating officer (IO) Ashwani Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Prabhjot Singh son of Pritpal Singh a resident of Sirhand.
Jaswinder Pal a resident of Khokhe Wal village complained to the police that the accused stole two air coolers, a cauldron (karrahi ), and Jugarru Rehrra from a Church on Khokhe Wal -_Talwann road.
IO said that a case under sections 331(4),305and 317(2) of the B.N.S. (457-lurking house-trespass, 380-theft in dwelling house)- 411-dishonestly receiving stolen property of the IPC) has been registered against the accused and recovered stolen items from his possession.
