NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer (IO) Harwinder Singh said that 8 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Daleep Singh a a resident of Baghela village.
IO said that a case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused who was released on bail.
