The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Station House Officer (SHO) Sanjiv Kapur that 70 intoxicant capsules and 91 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harmanjit Singh alias Happy son of Raghbir Singh a resident of Pati Gagarr, Jandiala village under Sadar Jamsher police station.
SHO said a case under sections 22(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police also arrested drug peddler Sandeep alias Seepa son of Manjinder Singh a resident of Uggi village with 117 intoxicant tablets said the investigating officer Balbir Singh.
The Nurmahal police also arrested drug peddler Saabi alas Tindi son of Gurnam a resident of Mohalla Sekhan, Nurmahal with 160 intoxicant tablets said the investigating officer, Jagjit Singh.
