The Nurmahal police have booked six villagers including a woman the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO)Jagjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Bholi, Jasraj, Saabi, Pindu, Amarit Pal, and Kir’s son all residents of Kot Badal Khan village.
Som Nath a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on July 5 afternoon attacked him with weapons and injured and threatened him.
IO said that a case under sections115(2)118(1)3335,351(2) and 61(2) of the BNS (323,324-voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means,452-house trespass -506-criminal intimidation and 120-B-criminal conspiracy of the IPC) has been registered against the accused.
