The Nurmahal police have booked three unidentified miscreants on the charge of firing at a farmer in a village.
Resham Singh a resident of Sunner Kalan village complained to the police that he was going to his fields on his tractor to bring paddy samplings on Monday morning around 7 AM when three unidentified motorcycle-borne accused waylaid him and motorcycle driving accused threatened him and another accused fired at him from a pistol to kill him and gunshot pierced his left thigh adding that he raised alarm and three accused fled away whom he can recognize if brought in his front. Resham Singh said his close relative rushed him to DMC Ludhiana in a serious condition.
Investigating Officer Bodh Raj said a case under sections 109 and 3(5) of the BNS (conspiring or organizing the commission of an organized crime) and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the unidentified accused and further investigations are on
