The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets. Investigating officer (IO)Balbir Singh said that 162 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Devi Dyal son of Mohan Lal a resident of Uggi village IO noted that a case under sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his scooter.
