The Shahkot police have arrested a woman on the charge of dowry harassment.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sarwann Singh said the accused has been identified as Parven Latta wife of Surinder Pal a resident of Punia village.
IO said a case under sections 406(breach of trust) and 498-A (torturing woman for dowry) was registered against the accused in January 2024.
