The district administration has made adequate arrangements for the convenience of voters who have passed the age of 100 in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections . Arrangements have been made for the disabled and people in the age group of 80 to 90 years to vote easily with wheelchairs, first aid and personal attention from staff. Giving information in this regard, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Vineet Kumar said that there are a total of 173 voters above 100 years of age in Faridkot, Kotakpura and Jaito constituencies, out of which a total of 79 ( male 28 , female 79).
Similarly, there are a total of 1221 voters in the district in the age group of 90 to 100 . 483 in Faridkot ( 197 males, 285 females).
Apart from this, there are a total of 3814 voters in the district in the age group of 85 to 90 . Of these, 1554 in Faridkot ( male 707, women 834 ) in Kotakpura total 1240 ( males 566 , (Women 674 ) Total 1033 ( Male 425 , (Women 608 ).
Similarly, there are a total of 6751 voters in the age group of 80 to 84 in the district . Total 2540 in Faridkot ( male 1232 , (Women 1308 ) 2106 in Kotakpura ( male 1009 , Women 1097 ) Jaito includes a total of 2105 ( 975 males, 1130 females).
