The Bilga police have arrested four drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin and intoxicant tablets.
Station house officer (SHO) Mohinder Pal said that 11 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harbhajan Singh alias Sonu son of Surjit Singha resident of Made Pur village Amandeep Singh alias Kala son of Bakhshish Singh a resident of Khurshaid Pur village under Shidham Bet police station, Ludhiana.
SHO said that a case under section 21(b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
SHO said the police also arrested drug peddlers Ram Lubhaya son of Mulakh Raj a resident of Ganna Pind village in Phillaur and Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa son of Mohinder Singh a resident of Meonwal village with 300 intoxicant tablets (loose)and impounded their motorcycle (PB-37-H-9376) on which they were traveling with the contraband.
