Faridkot:

“Even after nine years have rolled down, but we are still clueless about my brother. What happened to him after his kidnappning, is all a mystery,” said Neetu Kapoor, the sister of the boy, who was kidnapped on May 25 in 2014.

Manoj Kumar, 27, a resident of Mohalla Talab, Faridkot, then worked as cash loader with a private firm hired by the banks.

In the afternoon of that fateful day, someone called him up and he left home to meet him.

The caller allegedly called him on the pretext of getting some insurance as Manoj Kumar also worked as an insurance agent.

“But he was kidnapped and three ATMs were looted after his kidnapping at different locations in the district. Our family ran from pillar to post, but there is no clue of my brother, so far” said Neetu Kapoor.

She also approached the Punjab and Haryana High court in this regard and the case was transferred to the central bureau of investigation.

“But even the CBI could not crack the case,” said Neetu.

Neetu said that now the family plans to meet the Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann about this case.

Neetu said that the family would continue its legal course of action to get the case to a logical conclusion.
