The BIlga police have booked three Bilga villager residents on the charge of assaulting a woman.
The Investigating officer (IO) Ashwani Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Ajay, Saabi, and Giani all residents of Patti Bhalai, Bilga village.
Kamaljit Kaur wife of Shindar Pal a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused barged into her house on May 20 and assaulted her.
IO said that a case under sections 323, (voluntarily causing hurts),452(house trespass after preparation for assault), and 34b (committing a crime with the common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
The Lohian Khas police booked four accused on the charge of assaulting Karanvir Singh a resident of ward no 2 said IO Kashmir Singh.
The Nakodar Sadar police booked three accused for assaulting Harwindar Singh of Gohir village said IO Jasvir Singh.
